One of the reasons why I still love Indonesia: angkot bemo-ride in Kupang:

  1. I loved hearing timorese dialect although I barely understood a word.

  2. The car is basically a club on the road, fully decorated with stickers, multi-colour lights and super-loud music of the DJ, oops, driver's choice.

  3. You stop the bemo by clapping hands. Ain't it fun? I think we should apply it in Bandung as well.

And of course, these humbly written words of wisdom :)

  1. Hahahaha... sekalinya gua naik angkot waktu itu, emang teriak-teriak untuk minta berhenti. Alhasil... kelewat deh. Ternyata tepuk tangan ya? Menyenangkan sekali!
